My beloved P&S camera (Canon PowerShot SD1000 IS), bit the big one last week. I haven’t even had it a year…lens error. I am positive that dropping it as many times as I did, played a HUGE factor to its fate. I have felt bare and naked since. However, it did provide that extra nudge to get the camera I coveted: The Canon EOS 5D. (Now that the Mark II is out, these gems have lowered in price!)
Today, I received the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM I purchased…I’m just [impatiently] waiting for the camera body now!! Eventually, I’ll pick up the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L, but, I think I have spent enough for now!
Seeing as my new “baby” is considerably more expensive than my P&S was (which I need to replace as well), I have vowed to be [much] more careful.
Hurry up and get here, dammit!
